Business Development Administrator

BSG (Africa) has an opportunity for a Business Development Administrator in the Johannesburg Business Development division. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Business Development division with administration duties.
   
Qualifications: Degree/Diploma preferable

Experience: 1 + years in an administrative role, preferably in an IT/ business consulting environment
   
Main Purpose of the Role:   
Assist and support administrative duties for the Business Development front office and back office teams at BSG for the Johannesburg region.
   
Job Objectives:   
The successful candidate will support the Business Development front office and back office teams with the administration of commercial opportunities and documentation management. In addition to this, they would need to demonstrate initiative, good time management and attention to detail. This function is core to the effectiveness and competitiveness of BSG.
   
Knowledge:   
  • Awareness of the IT industry
  • Awareness of business and IT terminology
  • Lotus Notes advantageous
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Key Performance Areas:   
  • Preparing presentations
  • Developing and populating agendas for meetings
  • Responsibility for input to the upkeep of Philofax, Delivery Database, Projects Register, JHB file server, in-house portal and any other Business Development systems for the JHB region
  • Assisting with research and industry analysis when needed.
  • Binding, printing, photocopying, faxing
  • Any other ad hoc duties that may need to be performed from time to time
