BSG’s Human Resources team will assist you in gathering all the relevant documentation for your work permit application. BSG uses the services of immigration services companies to speed up the application process and to ensure that all the requirements are met.

Should you be made an employment offer by BSG, your work permit application will be submitted to Home Affairs within one week of you signing the offer of employment, provided that you have gathered all the necessary documentation.

Some documentation needed for the work permit application process takes a while to obtain or to process so it is best to start gathering the documentation as soon as possible.

Below is a list of requirements needed for your work permit application:
  • Certified copies of the whole passport
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Two id photographs
  • Certified copies of your qualifications (academic transcripts as well as certificates)
  • Medical Certificate (Click here for the Bi811 form which needs to be completed)
  • Radiological Report (Click here for the form which needs to be completed)
  • South African Police Clearance Report
  • Police Clearance Report from your country of origin
  • Certified copy of your birth certificate
  • Pages 2, 3 and 4 and Part G of the Bi1740 form to be completed (Click here for the form)
  • Power of Attorney form to be completed (Click here for the form)
